  33. Improvements take time to make. Porting the OS to a different processor takes
  34. a lot of time.  If they were to just make improvements, the PPC version would
  35. never be finished.  And how can you say the OS should be improved to other
  36. platforms'?  I've never yet used an OS better than WB3.0, and I've used Unix,
  37. System 7 and Windoze '95.... have I been missing out on some superb other
  38. system?
  39.     And how do you know the premium for the PPC will be huge?  PPC chips are
  40. mass-produced, so they'll be cheaper than an equivalent 680x0, even if there
  41. was one.

  100. That's what they're DOING, making the OS portable.  The 68k emulation
  101. won't be used in the OS, that's why it's taking time to port!

  117. If that's what you want then go ahead.  I won't be swapping my Amiga for any
  118. inferior machine until Amigas have kicked the bucket and joined the choir
  119. invisible. (You can get Portable Amigas now you know!)
